I just love this series. Show casing a colour and how it rubs along with other colours is enlightening. Your spontaneous scape in minutes is crazy . Love it!!!! I hope to take part in show and tell soon. I’ve been preparing for exhibiting my style of work in the UK. Small time I have to say, but from little acorns etc etc……..Before I retired I was a radiographer and I know professionally that ankles need a while to heal. Stay booted !!!! 🎨

@@watercolorpour Yes, she has a book (maybe more) and she has a video on UA-cam that explains her technique. She passed away recently but she was very popular and a well- known, well-respected artist. I really wondered if you were a student of hers or if you studied her technique. Your technique is really close to hers. (I didn't want to insult you by saying you might be a student of hers....I don't know how old you are as this is the first video I have watched of yours) You might really be interested in her work. Cheers!

I recently joined after seeing you with Angela Fehr. I absolutely love painting by dropping my pigments into water already on my paper. I’ve done that for some time. But you have taken this to a new level and I’m thrilled! My stencils have been ordered, little bowls for my pigments and I already have the pipets etc. I’m so excited to experiment more! Love it!

See. This is why i love watercolors. Its weird, when i want to paint something realistic (well, surrealistic in my case ) i use oils. But watercolors are made for this! I started doing realistic paintings with watercolor and slowly over time just loved watching the pigments spread, granulate, combine, fade to nothing, basically create magic, that I strayed away from realism when using them. Now there might be one or two realistic elements (realistic enough that you can tellxehat they are) but the rest is just letting those pigments enchant me. Sometimes ill just stare at them from so many different angles, looking at every little particle, all the cool textures and markings i get so spontaneously.
